MYKONOS ANO MERA

On a plot of 40.000 m² in Ano Mera, Mykonos this new development endeavours to be the new landmark luxury resort of the Aegean.

Collaborating with two world renowned Architects, 3SK and Rockwell Group, Technodynamics is the structural engineer of all the phases (schematic, design development and for construction). The development consists of 18 independent buildings (varying levels up to 4) on a highly seismic ground, also requiring the detailed development of supporting temporary works for enabling the uninterrupted construction. Advanced numerical design and methods have been utilised for the development of the details – in order to facilitate the spatial limitations set by the architects’ vision.

The new resort is going to have a reinforced concrete structural frame, aiding the local economy and community – with a view to sustainability also.

Long span elements in the main hall are the key features (and the connections to the vertical supports) bearing in mind that they shall be supporting a significant amount of soil (caved structure).
